Amelia Pond

Any bravery she might have had was instantly taken from her as soon as that smile left his face. Flinching, Amy pressed her back against the cement wall. “Because he’s busy, but he told me. He told me if I ever needed him, I’d just have to call out to him and he’d be here instantly.”

Dark smirked a little and looked at her. “Then where is he?” he asked, holding his hands out. He pressed a hand to his ear and pulled a face. “Do you hear a TARDIS? I don’t hear a TARDIS? Hello, he’s not coming.” He commented and smirked, walking around the room. “He throws you all away eventually, you know.”

She wanted to believe that the Doctor was a man of his word, she wanted to trust him because when he was there she felt like nothing in the world could hurt her. But he wasn’t here, which only fueled the bad Doctor’s fire. “Why should I believe anything you say?” Amy pointed out, finally getting to her feet, pushing down her gown when she did. “You’re constantly lying to me, to try and hurt me more.”

Finally, Amy pushed herself up into a sitting position on the bed and even still she felt far too vulnerable. “He’s going to come for me, the Doctor. And he won’t be happy when he sees you.” And yes, that was a threat.

Dark stopped smiling and looked at her, giving her a sinister look. He moved forward quickly, so quickly, that if she blinked she likely missed it. He snapped his fingers and pointed at her. “Think that scares me? Nope,” he stood up straight. “He’s afraid of me. Why do you think he hasn’t come for you yet?”

Amy held her breath when he got in her face again, despite the fact that she could feel a scream building in her throat. Tears welled up in her eyes as she pressed her body as far into the bed as she could. “No thanks to you.” She said bitterly as she let out the air she had been holding in. “I thought you were finally gone.”

Dark tilted his head and gave her a smile, leaning in more, so that his face was only   inches from hers. “Only because that’s what I wanted you to think,” he muttered before backing up. “Besides, you’re just so fun,” he clapped his hands and slid them behind his back. “I can do anything to you and no one is going to ever believe a word you say. Mad man in a blue box? Please.”

Brows knitting together when she heard a voice that was certainly not Rory’s, Amy rolled over onto her back and opened her eyes fully. Yelping in surprise, Amy attempted to crawl back away from him but with the size of the bed and how long she was, there was really no where for her to crawl to. “How did you-?” It had been a week since she had been visited by the bad Doctor, or the good one for that matter.

Dark stood up straight and slid his hands into his pockets, giving her a smile. He rocked back on his heels and considered her for a second. He reached up and tapped the side of his chin, pursing his lip together. “Hmm, I believe I have a key for the door. Or a vortex manipulator. I would have brought the TARDIS, but this is a really tiny room.” He moved in and pressed his face close to hers. “My my aren’t you broken now, Pond.”

In her mind, she had been sleeping. Her dreams, were as always, bizarre. Feeling a hand run through her hair, Amy leaned up into the touch. Believing it to be Rory’s, Amy let out a comforted sigh before slowly opening her eyes.

Dark watched her closely and reached out to run his fingers through her hair. She was much more damaged than he normally liked, but she was fun. It didn’t take much to manipulate her mind in a way that he could get the end result he wanted. “Wakey wakey, Pondy wondy,” he said in a sing song tone, leaning down so his face was level to hers. He was wearing a smile that suggested something was completely wrong with the picture she was seeing.

There are days…

There are days when I feel like, any moment they’ll be telling me I’m free to leave. That I can go back to a life where I’m not confined and poked fun at every day for believing in someone so strongly. That I know is real and is capable of saving the world.

Today is not one of those days.

And I thought I was the madman. Alright, other universes, other little pets who have seem to broken down without me. God, look at yourself, [scoffs] Get up.

Really, it’s embarrassing.

I once found your adoration and faith in me flattering but, this is just pathetic.

[Amy shook her head, tears spilling from her eyes.] Why can’t you just leave me alone?! [She shouted at him, putting as much distance between them as possible.]

Amy, what are you talking about?

Amy who are you talking about? What’s wrong? Are you okay?

[Ignoring him, Amy started slamming her hands against the door of her small, confined room.] Please! Please let me out!

Amy! Amy calm down, it’s okay it’s okay.

Amy what’s wrong? Please tell me…

[Of course no one was coming, they never did. They never helped her out, they only mocked her, teased her, laughed at her. Letting her hands fall from the door she turned to face him. For the first time, realising this wasn’t him. The man who pretended to be the Doctor, who mocked her.] D-Doctor?
